I am working on a Green and LEED project right now and I am inspired to explore more eco-friendly materials for my design. Jute is one my favorites for the texture and the look that it gives...
Twine, made out of natural fibers likejute, hemp, burlap or sisal, can be a beautiful artistic touch in much of our home decorating.
Sisal fringes, tassels and tiebacks give the natural look to our linen drawers
throw pillows and coverlets
They can also be great bookmarks
Here is a thought to embroider twine through cutwork linens
I love it wrapped around kitchen things! Gorgeous. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and for your sweet comment! Yours is lovely; I can't wait for more. xo Josie http://winksmilestyle.blogspot.com
