Give me Romance and Roses!

Roses symbolize Passion, Love, and Beauty...

In design, whatever they touch becomes romantic...

fresh

and feminine.

The greatest gift in any shape and form...

and always adored!

 Roses inspire tenderness and love

in all history!

Their captivating fragrance is made out of carefully selected and dried petals

You can make Rose Syrup by boiling 250 gr. of fresh picked rose petals in 3 liter water and after you let them stay for 24 hours, you add 2lb sugar and the juice of one lemon.

Rose-fruit is full of Vitamin C and can be made a delicious preserve. Here is a Greek recipe.

To make a natural face cleansing lotion out of Rose petals, we place a glass mixing bowl in a pot full of boiled water and we mix well 2 cups of milk and 1 cup of rose petals until soft.
Then we put them in the blender for a few minutes until they become like the thickness of a smoothie. Then keep them in the fridge in clear bottles.

We can also make instant Rose water by leaving a hand full of rose petal in warm water for 15 min. When it's cool, we can use it for cleaning and refreshing the eyes and the face.
I like using rose water in baking instead of vanilla.

Plus we can make a beautiful potpourri basket to leaven the senses in storage spaces, cupboards and every room. Garden guides are showing us how.

The spectacularly successful Ultimate Rose Book is back in a thoroughly updated and revised edition. Rosarian Stirling Macoboy’s book is a classic, not just for its beautiful pictures and comprehensive coverage, but also for its author’s good-humored, opinionated observations and his selection of 1,500 rose varieties to feature out of tens of thousands.
The expanded edition features 300 new varieties, selected for their beauty, fragrance, hardiness, and popularity, as well as new features on the history of the rose, the renaissance of garden roses, climbers, and ramblers, and great rose gardens of the world. There are also updated chapters on the classification of roses, as well as a glossary and bibliography. The 2,000 color photographs include the varieties named in the book.
An indispensable reference that possesses visual beauty and literary wit and soul, The Ultimate Rose Book is for gardeners and rose lovers everywhere.
